EOP Assess - A Self-Assessment Tool for Planning Team Members and Safety Leaders

The REMS TA Center’s EOP ASSESS tool helps you assess your capacity to create and maintain a high-quality school or higher ed emergency operations plan (EOP) that considers a range of threats and hazards. It contains questions about your education agency’s EOP and will help identify areas for learning opportunities. EOP ASSESS is framed around the six-step planning process recommended in the Guide for Developing High-Quality School Emergency Operations Plans, the Guide for Developing High-Quality Emergency Operations Plans for Institutions of Higher Education, and The Role of Districts in Developing High-Quality School Emergency Operations Plans by the U.S. Departments of Education, Homeland Security, Justice, and Health and Human Services. This tool is ideal for members of core and ad hoc planning teams and safety leaders who wish to enhance their capacity. Teams may also use this tool to form a common framework and establish common terminology.

You will receive a customized downloadable report upon completion of the tool, which should take approximately 12-15 minutes. Your responses are used only to generate a customized report, and no data remain in the REMS TA Center system upon completion and download of the report.

Let’s get started! All fields are required.
