PREPARING TO REUNIFY STUDENTS WITH FAMILIES AND GUARDIANS BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER A SCHOOL EMERGENCY

Duration: 30 to 45 min.

Objective: This course has been developed to help you plan for family reunification before, during, and after an emergency. Learn about how schools and school districts can develop, train, and mobilize reunification teams; how to implement tangible on-site and off-site reunification plans; and considerations to incorporate in a Family Reunification Annex. This course is recommended for school administrators, security officers, and emergency management and response personnel, as well as school or school district personnel responsible for supporting the family reunification process in the event of an emergency.
