On Thursday, December 14th, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST, the Office of Safe and Healthy Students and its REMS TA Center hosted a Webinar on SITE ASSESS, the REMS TA Center’s latest EOP Interactive Tool and first ever mobile application designed to support education agencies—both public and nonpublic—with examining the safety, security, accessibility, and emergency preparedness of a school building and grounds.

Presenters discussed the importance of site assessments as a school emergency preparedness activity, provided an overview of the secure mobile application and its features, and shared strategies for using SITE ASSESS to conduct K-12 site assessment collaboratively.

This Webinar included a PowerPoint presentation. Following the presentation, the presenters answered participant questions in a Question and Answer session and a Community of Practice Web Chat.
