The U.S. Department of Education, Office of Safe and Supportive Schools and its REMS TA Center hosted a Webinar to highlight the REMS TA Center’s services and show practitioners how to interact with the REMS TA Center for support. Presenters provided an introduction to and brief overview of the REMS TA Center, including whom it serves and layers of its services. New products and services from the REMS TA Center were viewed. Additionally, presenters spotlighted key resources for state education agencies, local education agencies, and institutions of higher education, as well as their community partners with a role or responsibility in school/higher ed safety, security, emergency management, and preparedness.
Presenters for this Webinar were Bronwyn Roberts, Strategic Director of the REMS TA Center; Janelle W. Hughes, Project Director of the REMS TA Center; and Alison Curtis, Director of Information & Product Management at the REMS TA Center. This archived Webinar serves as a resource to help K-12 and higher education agencies enhance their safety, security, emergency management, and preparedness activities.
