The REMS TA Center is the one-stop shop for all public and nonpublic education agencies looking to enhance their school (K-12 and higher ed) safety program and overall preparedness efforts. During this Webinar, participants learned about all the free products and services that the REMS TA Center offers to 2-year and 4-year institutions of higher education (IHEs) on safety, security, and emergency management topics.

Presenters for this Webinar were the REMS TA Center's very own Project Director, Deputy Project Director, and Information & Product Manager, who have led the development of many resources that were discussed. They described how REMS TA Center resources, tools, and trainings can be used by IHEs, including some successful strategies that have already been applied, and how to engage with the REMS TA Center. The presentation concluded with a Question-and-Answer session and was followed by a Twitter Chat.

The U.S. Department of Education's Office of Safe and Supportive Schools and its REMS TA Center hosted this Webinar to provide IHEs with information on free services and products that are available to enhance school safety programs and overall preparedness efforts. While the live Webinar offered opportunities to respond to individual and unique questions from stakeholders and practitioners, the archived Webinar serves as a resource to help IHEs.
