The REMS TA Center presents this prerecorded webinar on the topic of providing suicide prevention and intervention supports to students experiencing mental health crises. During this webinar, the REMS TA Center and partners from Connecticut discussed suicide prevention and intervention initiatives currently being used across Connecticut, both locally and statewide.
The presenters shared strategies education agencies and their partners can use to reinforce their role in prevention and intervention. Additionally, they shared resources to be used by mental health practitioners as well as school safety leaders, planning team members, and community partners.

The U.S. Department of Education and its REMS TA Center hosted this webinar to provide K-12 schools, school districts, regional education agencies, state education agencies, and their community partners with information on how to support students experiencing mental health issues. The webinar serves as a resource to help education agencies ensure that students who are experiencing mental health issues receive adequate support.
